DHCP logs
« on: August 11, 2008, 11:32:18 am »
Hi all,

i'm new in this forum and i'm new in ebox.
First of all i chose ebox because is into the documentation of ubuntu 8.04 and i upgrade my server to it.

After the installation and some days of work i don't understand one thing:
can i see the logs of dhcp, the IP that server provide?

Thanks to all.
Andrea

Yes. In order to see logs. You must enable logs module in "Module status" and enable the DHCP log in "Logs -> Configure Logs". After saving changes you should see IP leases and releases in "Logs -> Query Logs" selecting DHCP module.

Hope this helps you.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

This morning i can see the dhcp logs, i think that maybe my pc into lan are still with the ip of old dhcp server and i cannot see the logs.

I hope this is right, because now i see the log of one pc that now have 1 IP of ebox server.

Thanks for all.
