Network Routing
« on: September 21, 2010, 09:01:22 am »
I'm setting up a new eBox to replace a Domain Server, Mail Server and Firewall.
(That used to be 3 computers)

So I have a 3x NIC computer, like so:

WAN - ADSL, with PPPoE
MAIL - Dedicated line with Static IP
LAN - Static IP for Internal Network

I have checked the WAN interface as a WAN interface... I know.
Should I check MAIL interface as WAN interface also?
I only use this connection for the email service.

Either way, eBox keeps telling me to:
- Add default routers to the default table
- Enable eBox DHCP hook

Could someone help me?

Well, you should setup gateway for both external interfaces: WAN and MAIL and then some multigateway rules to send mail only through the MAIL gateway.
