eBox 1.4.8 regularly freezing

Hello,

We have eBox virtual installation, "guested" on VirutalBox 3.2.6, Ubuntu Server 9.10 x86, used only as email and small single website hosting server.

Sadly, this installation freezes quite regularly.

Here "freezes" I mean CPU usage goes up to 100% (looking at guest process from host), cannot ssh to it, desktop session is unresponsive, no email or anything;

Regularity is noticed for few days, and it happens just after regular cron jobs: slave-sync and cron.hourly

No logs at the time of freeze in ebox.log.

You can see my manual hard-resets in logs after discovering it...

eBox has 1.5GB of RAM, 1/3 is used, other 1/3 is cache, so it looks no prob. here.

I am not sure should I charge eBox or VirtualBox for this (or something else). It may look something with cron jobs, but not every slave-sync & cron.hourly produces the freeze -  running them manually looks OK.  

I've tried to make it reboot every night with cron, but that made no effect.

It's quite a stress having that kind of unstable system here, so your help would be very much appreciated!
