[solved] Zarafa - outlook 2007

i'm trying to connect outlook 2007 to zarafa.

Win7 32bit
.NET
Outlook 2007
Zarafa client 6.40


Zarafa outlook conector:

Server: 10.0.0.1
port: 236
https: not selected
username: XXXXX
password: YYYYYYYY

--> can not make conntection with the server.....

Also trying with the zarafa migration wizard

Server: 10.0.0.1
port: 236 (autofilled in)
username: XXXXX
password: YYYYYYYY

--> Error: Zarafa: Cannot find Zarafa server on this location or port

non of the above worked for me

Can somebody help me?

have you tried opening the firewall for the internal network and for the zarafa service?

i've open all my ports any to any, still the same result

I had the same problem... to make this work your client (outlook) must be configured to use the standard IMAP-port i.e. 143. For this you have to disable the imap service in communications>mail>general and save the settings. Under Office>Groupware you enable IMAP gateway and save the settings as well...

Verify your outlook accountsettings and it should work :-) It does for me !

Zentyal includes Zarafa open source version which doesn't include Outlook MAPI access but you still can connect using IMAP.
