eBox and PPPoE?
« on: August 13, 2008, 11:15:51 am »
I downloaded the iso with the ebox installer intigrated into the Ubuntu 8.04 installer and ran that. Everything installed correctly, and I can access the Web-based admin utility. I still have the computer with eBox inside my current network setup because I want to test it before really start using it. I have AT&T DSL and that uses PPPoE to connect, so this is a necessity if I want to replace my current router. Is there any way I can implement a PPPoE module or use the base OS (Ubuntu) to initiate the PPPoE connection?

I'm sorry to say that we don't support PPPoE yet. It's a feature that many people have requested but unfortunately we haven't had time to implement it yet :(
