Dynamic DNS enabled under DHCP
« on: September 26, 2010, 10:28:52 pm »
Zentyal 2.0.
If I enable Dynamic DNS, DHCP will not start.

root@zentyal:/etc/bind# /etc/init.d/dhcp3-server start
dhcpd self-test failed. Please fix the config file.
The error was:
Internet Systems Consortium DHCP Server V3.1.3
Copyright 2004-2009 Internet Systems Consortium.
All rights reserved.
For info, please visit https://www.isc.org/software/dhcp/
Can't open /etc/bind/keys: Permission denied

/etc/bind/keys is owned by root and has perms 644.

As long as Dynamic DNS is not enabled DHCP starts and runs fine.

Please help, TIA.

Brian

Yes, this is an already reported problem. A new package fixing it will be released soon. Thanks for reporting it anyway.
