I just installed ebox. Everything is fine. I added some static routes but this one, to 233.33.210.0/24 returns an error. Any ideas?
Thanks

hi,
do you care to elaborate some more? that how would anyone help if he doesn't know what you are seeing/getting! right?

1. what eBox version?
2. what packages do you have installed?
3. what errors/warnings/messages do you have in the logs? (look in /var/log/ebox/)

Thank you for your reply.
But hey, I'm just adding static routes!
Besides I'm not asking to open a ticket.
If someone hit this before please confirm and/or suggest workaround.

Probably because that's a multicast address. Why are you trying to add static routes for multicast?

li35-166:~# ipcalc 233.33.210.0 | tail -2
Hosts/Net: 254                   Class D, Multicast

@mig5 That's right, multicast.
This is my ISP's TV-over-IP service and is accessible only from within their network.
I want to add static route because I have 2 gateways.

So I can't add multicast static routes?
