User Corner login not working (eBox 1.3.6, Ubuntu 9.04)

Hi,

in version 1.3.6 user site (the one at port 8888) is not working with Ubuntu 9.04.
When I try logging in, I get "500 Internal server error" page. This may have a clue to what's happening:

Uhm, from your logs it seems that somehow gconf is not running properly. Did you install the Hardy packages in Jaunty? If you did, that's probably the cause.

Nope, everything is jaunty.

I just wanted to let you know I can verify the problem.  I've had that error ever since I installed 1.3.3 on Jaunty a month ago and it persisted with 1.3.6.  Fortunately the user corner isn't a pressing issue for me right now so I can wait and figured it would be fixed by 1.4.

I also have this problem. 1.3.5 in Karmic. Never tried it in Jaunty.

Another confirmation from me. I have the same erros running Ubuntu Karmic and eBox 1.3.5 from Ubuntu repository packages.

I get "500 Internal server error". 1.3.6-0ubuntu1~ppa1~jaunty1 in Jaunty.

I am using version 1.4.3 and after putting login and password of user in the usercorner login screen, enters and displays the a Error 500.

There is no related information in the logs of apache, ebox or anywhere...

Anyone knows why could be?

I found that if I delete the contents of /var/lib/ebox-usercorner/sids then it works again.

When a user logs out, their file in that space is deleted. I'm not exactly sure the problem, but it was giving me errors (in /var/log/ebox-usercorner/error.log) about
Could not open /var/lib/ebox-usercorner/sids/user_name
where the file user_name (and some others) were remaining there.
