Some success!
« on: May 17, 2010, 11:58:55 pm »
I tried again today to set up ebox.  Now I turned of the modem and had it turned of for a while.  After I pluged it back in and started the ebox machine I noticed that it said: up, link OK.  I thought finally I managed but than after a while it went back to: up, no link.  I was also unable to ping google even when it said that it was up!  So my question is why is this and how could I fix it?  Also in the tx bytes I saw some miniscule activity but there was something there for sure.

Have you configured your interfaces?. Go to Netwoek -> Interfaces and configure them, then Save changes'.
sSe -> http://doc.ebox-platform.com/en/intro.html#location-within-the-network for more information about how to configure interfaces

I did that but it seemed to just get worse because than I tried to ping google but all I got was the message: connection can not be established.  Any way today I went out to get the wrt54GL router for 54 euros and installed dd-wrt on it.
