[SOLVED] Zentyal server taking ages to load after uploading blacklist!

Hi,

I have uploaded a blacklist to the Zentyal server from Dansguardian website and have chosen which categories to be blacklisted. After connecting the client machine to test, my hard disk is going through a hard time! The led is always on which means that it is loading something but its been already 30 mins :S. Did someone experience this too please? Thanks

Christian, in that case but if I define a URL to be whitelisted, does that configuration change make any effect? For example if I blacklist the category online shopping BUT I want to have ebay.com as a whitelist and therefore I need to specify it individually. Does the change stop it from being whitelisted? I don't understand the real meaning of load_url_lists = no. Thanks

Hi mat:

Categories are stored under /var/lib/zentyal/files/squid....

categories have two files domains.squid and urls

Activating this setting will not check those urls files and will check only the domains one
