Update Policy Definitions and remove map drive
« on: April 13, 2023, 01:46:44 pm »
Hello to all,
Just started using the software and I have to say that it fits well in small environments, especially in classrooms where I intend to use it, but I have a few questions that maybe someone can clear the them out.

1. Is there any way to remove that map drive for users? I have searched and no SAMBA configuration from other forums did the trick. I prefer to use a Windows box for shares since I can better manage NTFS permissions.
2. Is there any way to add/update the policy definitions that make up the GPOs? In Windows domain controllers these are the ADMX files. I want to add some new ones in order to get some more policies that I need in my environment.

Thank you in advance and keep up the good work,
Adrian

You can use RSAT tools from any client station connected to the domain just like you would with a Windows Server. You can manage your shares from there as well.
