LDAP Proxy for Google Secure LDAP
« on: March 18, 2022, 04:58:37 pm »
I would like to set up (ideally two in high availability) LAN side LDAP servers to serve as a proxy for Google's secure LDAP.

I searched forums and documentation and I couldn't find any direct answers.

I know that the secure ldap requires certificates, but I haven't been able to find a place to do enter that information if I choose "Additional domain controller".

Anyone have any idea of how I can achieve this?

Hi,

If you want to use a certificate to secure the communications in the domain controller module, you have to follow the below link:

* https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Configuring_LDAP_over_SSL_(LDAPS)_on_a_Samba_AD_DC

Just remember that you will need to use the stubs to configure file 'smb.conf'.

* https://doc.zentyal.org/en/appendix-c.html#stubs
