Email sync doesn't work on email clients after update

Hi Folks,
I did update on my "production" home Zentyal server 7.0.4 (Ubuntu server 20.04LTS on KVM host Ubuntu server 20.04LTS), below packages:

and the server stoped to sync with all the email clients (Android devices, Outlook, Win10 mail client), also when I create a new mail account on a device it won't start synchronize. I use ActiveSync on all the clients and email boxes are very small.
There is no error in /var/log/mail.log or syslog, just lots of this kind of records (much more then usually - many sync attempts per second):

A newly recieved emails are normally available in SOGo Webmail but email clients try to sync without success.
All suggestions are appreciated.

Hello, I have the same problem, but with version 6.1 Commercial Version of Zentyal after the update. I would like to switch to CardDAV for contacts and email, calendar works with CalDav (I have these problems only with IOS under MACOS everything works correctly), but here I always get an SSL error and get nowhere here. How must the Zentyal server be set up correctly, is there a tutorial for this. I have unfortunately found nothing. Or can you undo the update, so that ActiveSync works again.

Hello under Email and Groupware / Sogo xml parse error is stored the solution for the problem. Thank you very much for the help, attached is the workaround to get ActiveSync working correctly again.

zs sogo stop
zs mail stop
wget http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/e/expat/libexpat1_2.2.9-1build1_amd64.deb
dpkg -i libexpat1_2.2.9-1build1_amd64.deb
zs mail start
zs sogo start
