External SSO provider (Okta or Jumpcloud)
« on: December 11, 2019, 11:18:17 am »
hi,

I'm looking at using Zentyal as an on-site AD, for use with a new SSO provider, which is likely to be Okta or Jumpcloud.

Does anyone know if Zentyal has the ability to  connect to an external LDAP or Radius server for user authentication or replication?

I've been poking around on the forums and on the interface itself, and nothing has jumped out at me.

Regards,

Steve D.

Has no one had any experience of this?

 :)

I have no experience in this type of systems but as far as Zentyal uses samba and Jumpcloud claims to be able to work with samba, it should be possible. https://support.jumpcloud.com/support/s/article/enabling-samba-support-with-jumpcloud-ldap-2019-08-21-10-36-47

Cheers!
