How to check if traffic shaping is working?

I have installed ebox recently and want to try its traffic shaping feature. As a test, i used 3 laptops connected to the ebox machine.
               Service      Source      Destination      Priority      Guaranteed Rate      Limited Rate
Laptop1:  any             any           Laptop1            7             60kbps                      120kbps
Laptop 2: any             any           Laptop2            7             1000                         8000
Laptop 3: any             any           Laptop3            7             60                             200

Then I tried to make them stream 3 different videos in youtube, but they all seem to start at the same moment.

Is there a reliable way to test traffic shaping in ebox? Hope to hear your response soon.

I think that a better test would be to:

1. Download a big file from the net
2. Try to see how the same torrent behaves
3. Go to a speed testing site and see what happens
