Zentyal 5: Groups as source for HTTP Proxy Access Rules . . .
« on: December 02, 2016, 09:20:53 pm »
Hello everyone.

I have done a clean installation of Zentyal 5.0 and in the HTTP-Proxy module when the access rules are created, in the Source section there is no possibility to choose "User's Group".

However I have another installation with Zentyal 4.0 and there is that option which is necessary in case we do not want to activate the transparent proxy and access it with authentication by user.

Does anyone know what this can do?

(See capture of Zentyal 5 and 4)

No one reply answer about this.

I'm still working with 4.0 version which the one already have this option on squid module.

Proxy module without this option is not so usable in my business.
I don't know if they will introduce it again on future update or releases.

Thank you for your feedback, I was thinking I made something wrong.

I am having the same issue. Its useless as I can not apply any filter also there is no option for authenticated log in to the internet. Zentyal 5.0 is missing lot of interesting features which we had in the earlier versions.
I was previously working on 2.0 but on reinstallation I was getting error of broken packages.
Is it a good idea to install 4.0 instead ???
Need help.
