[SOLVED] RDP: user doesn't exist
« on: November 24, 2016, 05:36:02 pm »
after joining my workstations to zentyal domain, all RDP credentials are not valid and windows doesn't save them. when I start remote desktop I receive error "The specified user name does not exist." what happens?
I "fix" removing saved credential and inserting them every time

SOLVED:
1. http://superuser.com/questions/604483/windows-7-remote-desktop-connection-save-credentials-not-working
2. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-security/remote-desktop-connection-not-using-saved/13a17d84-b008-4767-95fb-b891e9e6bc66

1. Open Domain Policy Editor
2. Navigate to Computer Policy\Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Credentials Delegation\
3.Open Setting Allow Delegating Saved Credentials with NTLM-only Server Authentication, set it to Enabled click on button Show... and in Show Contents window add Value TERMSRV/* Close all windows by pressing OK.
4. Run cmd and enter gpupdate command to update your policy.
