Ubuntu Server 14.04.02 LTS - zentyal_samba & zentyal_squid fail

Hi together,
hope you can help me on this (warning, i am Linux nub)

I have a clean Ubuntu Server 14.04 LTS install, i followed the guide here and did this for v 4.0.
Install works fine without any errors, i can reach the website and login.

But now my Problem, when i mark at the first steps or later at software management zentyal_squid, it has depencies on zentyal_samba -> ok, it installs but then fails to configure
"The following packages are not properly installed. You need to fix this before trying to use them or install new modules.
To solve this situation, please try to execute the following command in the console:

sudo dpkg --configure -a

After the above command is finished you can reload this page. If the problem persists, you can ask for help in the community forum or file a ticket in the Zentyal trac."

When i run "sudo dpkg --configure -a" it says for zentyal-samba
"Package samba is not yet configured"
for zentyal-squid that zentyal-samba isn`t configured yet.

What have i to do? And why i need samba for squid?

Hi, I have sort of the same problem. I'm have a fresh install of Ubuntu Server 14.04.02 LTS with Zentyal 4.1. For some reason samba, zentyal-samba, zentyal-printers cannot be configured. "sudo dpkg --configure -a" gives me:

Setting up samba (3:4.1.17+dfsg-1~zentyal1) ...

 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

 zentyal-samba depends on samba (>= 2:4.1.13); however:

 dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of zentyal-printers:
 zentyal-printers depends on zentyal-samba; however:

I'm lost here. I know how to google  but so far no solution. Anyone here who can help us out?

Hi guys!

Why don't you follow this: 'The preferred way to install Zentyal on a new machine from scratch is using our tailored CD installer. This CD contains Zentyal and all its dependencies." (https://wiki.zentyal.org/wiki/Installation_Guide)? It works without any problems!

Problem comes when you try to install it on a Cloud Instance like AWS.

I've tried and it installs "successfully" but pretty much most of the modules crash and it doesn't work.
