"eM Client" an alternative Outlook client?
« on: March 11, 2016, 12:29:39 pm »
Hello,

Windows 2016 will used in the future in our home. And I get no connection to Zentyal with Outlook 2016. So I investigated which solution would be fine in combination with Zentyal. I found a real interesting Mail client named “eM Client”
I installed the client and got the first problem  :(

Zentyal has implemented an Exchange solution to get Outlook connected and eM Client has implemented an Outlook solution to get Exchange connected.  But Zentyal doesn’t work with eM Client!!

If it is anybody here, who is interested to find a solution, he would make me happy.
If I can help to solve this problem, I would to it, but I don’t know how.

I get the following sync-protocol information:
11:22:35    user@example.at [Exchange Web Services]  MailExceptions.ConnectionException: Couldn't get server version.
11:22:35    bei MailClient.Protocols.Exchange.ExchangeFolderSynchronizer.GetExchangeVersion(WorkerStatus s, CancellationToken c)
11:22:35    bei MailClient.Protocols.Exchange.ExchangeGenericCommand.Execute(WorkerStatus status)
11:22:35    bei MailClient.Commands.Command.Process(WorkerStatus status)

BR Hans
