command for dhcp using command line

 i need help urgently. what is the command line that i have to type to get the ip address from a particular network interfacee

If you just want to check addresses for the different interfaces, you could try using

Code: [Select]
ifconfig
A quick search in Google for this would probably have given you the answer faster as this is not an eBox specific command  ;)

thanks oceanwatcher for the quick reply. i have a huge favour to ask from you. Is it possible for you to list me all the various command line for the firewall service. thanks
