error additional domain controller to window 2008 R2
« on: August 13, 2014, 08:03:02 am »
Dear all,

I'm prepare to transfer windows 2008 R2 to zentyal 3.5.2

On windows 2008 R2 I already run all command

adprep /Foresprep, adprep /Domainprep, adprep /domainprep /gpprep

On Zentyal 3.5.2 - I'm upgrade all is needed.

Configure DNS is adding name server with win2008 & IP address of win2008 server.

NTP server with 0.pool.ntp.org

Now I change domain to "additional domain controller"

with info

- Domain controller FQDN --> windows 2008 full domain name
- Domain DNS server IP --> IP address of win 2008
- Administrator account & password --> windows 2008 administrator account & password

after I save changed I get the error

Some modules reported error when saving changes . More information on the logs in /var/log/zentyal/

The following modules failed while saving their changes, their state is unknown: samba The following modules failed while saving their changes, their state is unknown: samba at The following modules failed while saving their changes, their state is unknown: samba at /usr/share/perl5/EBox/GlobalImpl.pm line 735 EBox::GlobalImpl::saveAllModules('EBox::GlobalImpl=HASH(0x4810178)', 'progress', 'EBox::ProgressIndicator=HASH(0x2ad4ad8)') called at /usr/share/perl5/EBox/Global.pm line 95 EBox::Global::AUTOLOAD('EBox::Global=HASH(0x480fc08)', 'progress', 'EBox::ProgressIndicator=HASH(0x2ad4ad8)') called at /usr/share/zentyal/global-action line 32 eval {...} at /usr/share/zentyal/global-action line 30

Please help me to solve my problem, I realy need to switch our windows server to zentyal because we are run out of time with microsoft licenses.

Many thanks.
