I've been using a Zentyal 3.5 server, among other things, as a Jabber/XMPP server. I noticed in 3.5 stronger default SSL encryption was added, so I re-issued the certificates from the General Certificate Authority page on Zentyal.

It's a day later, and now when I try to connect to the XMPP server I get a message from Pidgin on the client end that says, "Unable to validate certificate. The certificate for [domain.name] could not be validated. The certificate chain presented is invalid."

Is there any short way around this, aside from going into the Web interface, downloading the certificate, and installing it into Pidgin on the client side?

Thanks!
