Packet filter question *noob warning*
« on: April 09, 2008, 02:59:35 pm »
Hi

This may seem like a very stupid question to all you eBox gurus. But here goes, how can I make a simple packet filter rule to accept "any" trafic on a single custom port for example port 60 on the external interface?

I tried with the web gui and there is just a list of default services.. Any way to modify the drop down menu items?

Thanks in advance..

E

In fact you need firstly to create the new service which has port 60 assigned. To do so you must go to the 'Services' section and click in 'Add new service'.

After adding it will became availble in the drop down menu.

Cheers,
