Zentyal 3.5 bug?

Hi there!

Sometimes when I click "submit changes" in the upper right corner a red window opens showing the below message. Is this caused by a bug or have I made a mistake during the installation of 3.5?

This is a bug, please use the button you will have in the red pop-up to report the error. And keep and eye on it in here https://tracker.zentyal.org/projects/zentyal

There is currently no option to report the bug inside the red window.
The only button visible in the red window is the "OK" button.
Clicking it will make the red window disappear, but I doubt the bug is being reported at the same time.

I also have the same issue. I have included several screen shots showing what I am attempting to do and the error message. I also confirm there is no way to submit a bug on the pop up error message.

This is a brand new Zentyal 3.5 install, all updates installed.

Hello: On this case you will need to send the bug report  by hand.
Please add on it any relevant log (/var/log/zentyal folder is a good option) and a complete description of your scenario and whay you were trying to do

Bug reports have already been sent by multiple users, the tracker is full of Samba issues at the moment.
We are desperately waiting for a fix. Server is down for days now, please fix it asap.

I think many bug reports have been made as this Samba share issue seems to be related to GPO editor issue (Bug Tracker numbers 1658, 1666, 1667, 1668, 1673, 1674, 1675, 1676, 1677, 1679, 1682, 1688, 1690, 1692). Both GPO edit issue and Samba share creation / ACL changes have the exact same wording in the error.

When trying to edit GPO, the error message is:
   Unable to load dafault file at /usr/share/perl5/EBox/Samba/SmbClient.pm line 52, <GEN0> line 2566.

When trying to create or update Samba shares, the same line shows in /var/log/zentyal/zentyal.log
   Unable to load dafault file at /usr/share/perl5/EBox/Samba/SmbClient.pm line 52, <GEN0> line 1107.

So it would seem the GPO bugs listed above, and the problem of editing ACL's or creating Samba shares are related.

For me the issue has been solved by todays printer and DNS module updates.
I got an error when saving ACL's on one share, but this is a content issue, not a Samba issue.
Did about 7 shares and 6 went OK so no problem.

Another issue I had with nt_status_access denied is also solved.
I had to set permissions on the root of the drive to be able to share a subfolder.
755 on the mountpoint did the trick, all shares are now accessible by normal users. 

Happy camper, now on to the Squid mess, that one is still open.
