University main LDAP server

Hi all,
I really love Zentyal and I would like to ask if there is someone using it as a main LDAP - Shibboleth authentication system to a university enviroment?
Concerning LDAP, I need to add some object classes in order to get some extra attributes.
Is it possible to do that?
Also there must be also Tomcat Server.
Anyway... if anyone already use Zentyal with LDAP - Shibboleth in a university enviroment, please share with me any thoughts about it.
