Zentyal 3.5 on AWS

Hello,

I'd like to use Zentyal as a Samba 4.1.x LDAP that is hosted in AWS.  The general idea is to authenticate all web services against Zentyal.
Has anyone ever used Zentyal for this purpose?  I know its not possible to authenticate PCs against an LDAP that resides outside of a LAN due to the RPC calls, but has anyone used Samba 4.x as an authentication backend for web services?
