DHCP SubNet - VLAN
« on: May 29, 2014, 06:38:04 pm »
Hi all,

Anyone know how to configure the DHCP to work in VLAN?

BrazilFW currently use, and it has a nice option called SUBNET, my internal network is 192.168.0.0/24 and have all devices registered with your MacAdrress, only has a few people who want to use mobile, tables, private notebooks, where here the company is allowed, just not what I try to watch MacAdrress when they connect to the network, falls in DHCP, the DHCP release an IP subnet (10.100.0.X), getting off the main network.

In Zentyal managed to create a VLAN adapter with the same IP. 10.100.0.0/24, only I can not turn on the DHCP on it, how to do this?

Or do I have reversed, with leave eth1 10.100.0.1 and create a VLAN with my internal IP 192.168.0.1/24?

Rgs,

Win

I believe you need to run dhcp on your internal interface for it to serve the devices on your network. So try the opposite from what you setup.

I am having this issue also. dhcp in vlan is not working. I setup the range for the vlan but nothing. Anyone out there have any ideas?
