Zentyal Component Error
« on: May 09, 2014, 06:36:09 am »
Update zentyal box from 3.3 to 3.4, but got an error after upgrading.

"The following packages are not properly installed. You need to fix this before trying to use them or install new modules."

The packages are : zentyal-webmail, zentyal-webserver and zentyal-ips.

Have been tried to execute the command "sudo dpkg --configure -a " but it did not solve the problem.

Anyone care to help me?

Are you sure you applied the patch or you added the *-proposed repository?

What did you do to fix the suricata issue? Did you add anything to sources.list? or did you modify /etc/init.d/suricata

Or did you do nothing to correct it?

Sorry for ignorance, I did nothing, I am just executing apt-get install suricata in the command prompt. Please guide me how to applying the patch.

Thanks before.

As you will need ssh/bash access for the rest of the steps... there's no sense in looking for this
