im just starting to learn about zentyal. im planning to use this as DC in our company coz its free. no licensure problems. I know how to setup zentyal as domain controller but in general, i have zero background and this is the first time im going to setup AD/DC.
In our company, our email server is hosted by a different company that also manages our ftp and other web related services. when i ping our mail server, the email service provider's IP replies. we also have our own static IP but it is somehow linked to their IP (usually in FTP).
from other's advice, i must use a slightly different sub-domain name to setup for our AD.
what other settings i must apply so we can have a DC without affecting our email and FTP service provided by other company
