Zentyal 4.0 with encrypted disk in Proxmox/virtual environment
« on: October 30, 2014, 06:33:14 am »
Hi.

Thanks for a great product.

I prefer to test new programs/operating systems in a virtual environment (Proxmox/CentOS etc) and I also like to encrypt the data that I place in there.

When I installed Zentyal 4.0 on Proxmox 3.x, I ran in to a problem where I could not get it to show me the field to type in the password for the encrypted disk. I have tried a couple of different variations of the installation. My weak point turned out to be my preference to have the GUI installed when I install for testing software.

I finally tried skipping the installation of the graphical interface, and I could type in the password.  :)

I don't have a solution for you if you prefer to have the graphical interface installed. Perhaps someone else can look in to that.

Hope this can help someone!  :D
