After replacing a perfectly working older Zentyal Server (Samba3) with Version 3.3 (Samba4) the following problem occurs:
A Microsoft Access Database (.accdb) often reports errors (german version: "aktualisierung nicht möglich. momentan gesperrt, i try to translate: can not update - currently locked). So changes cannot be saved.
I made the following changes to the samba config (section "shares", it's a guest share with full access to everyone):
veto oplock files = /*.accdb/*.laccdb/*.mdb/
create mask = 0777
force create mode = 0777
directory mask = 0777
force directory mode = 0777
It does not work.
Does anyone have a tip how to set up Samba 4 under Zentyal so that shared access to Microsoft Access files works correct?
