Hi all,

I currently have a few DOS boxes connected to my network shares for file access. My only issue is that after I have edited my smb.conf file to allow access and restart the server...smb.conf reverts to the previous/original version. Is there any way to make these changes permanent? Is this supposed to be reverting? Do I need to just keep adding in my changes every restart?

Thanks in advance!

You might prepare a file "smb.conf.mas" which fits your needs. Please see http://doc.zentyal.org/en/appendix-c.html#advanced-service-customization
