Solved: Problem after restoring backup
« on: November 10, 2009, 11:24:51 pm »
Hello!

We upgraded our Ebox hardware. And reinstalled everything. We did a backup before the new installation. After the new installation was finished we restored the backup. Everything worked perfectly, only a small problem that we cant solve.

The admin users of the domain is no longer admin users. They can log in but only as normal users.

Hope someone can help me with this problem?

Which eBox version or versions were you using? Were they the same before and after the hardware upgrade?

Can you check whether such users are member of 'Domain admins' and 'Administrator groups' ?
To check this use the following command: "slapcat | less" look for the groups entry and see if the users are show as 'memberUid' attributes.
