Error: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long
« on: March 22, 2008, 03:25:18 pm »
Hi!

When I try to reach my ebox-login I only get an error.

Quote
Error: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long

I've been using this tutorial ( http://howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_debian_sarge ) to install sarge and then this for ebox ( http://howtoforge.com/debian_ebox ). I used ebox.com's installation guide.

How do I get this to work?

Best regards, wally

After installing ebox I go to my other computer and type in https://192.168.2.7 (the ip of the debian-computer) in firefox and this comes up.

Could it be some programs that are doing the same thing and thereby being on a collision course?

Best regards,

wally

hi Wally,
It seems that is a firefox's error; try to browse other ssl enabled sites to see what happens.
After this, you can check this thread for more information, maybe you can fix with one of his tips

Hi again,

I completely reinstalled debian and installed ebox right away and I did not follow the guides I listed above. It most be something wrong in the first guide or something that makes it go wrong.

Thanks for all the help!

Best regards,
wally
