How to Set Up "Bare" Domain in DNS
« on: December 27, 2013, 05:28:33 pm »
Hi,

I'm a new Zentyal user. I've tried searching the forums an documentation for an answer to my question but haven't found anything (may simply have missed it).

I'm wondering how I can configure DNS to allow "bare" domain names. For example, I'd like my web site to respond to:

mybusiness.com

the same is it would to:

www.mybusiness.com

but it seems you need to provide a host name in the Zentyal DNS module.

Is there any way to configure this or do I need to modify named.conf and if I do, where are the named.conf files located?

Thanks in advance.
