What are the problems? If you try with a regular Ubuntu server 16.04 ISO is it working?

Good afternoon. I also have a problem with the installation on the Hyper-v zentyal 5.0 after installing a black screen. If you just installed Ubuntu 16.04 everything is working well.

So do we have an answer for this, I have also found that 5.0 is not supported on the newer version of Hyper-V in 2016 server or Windows 10.

Can this please be resolved.

This is from my experience installing on promox as vm -- if you are using zentyal 5.0 iso, system will not boot after installation.  I have tested using lvm.  Only way I have found is to reboot with iso, select repair system and then install lvm package.  after that run update-grub. 

That solved my problem.  It might help you.
