i would like to setup a von connection using Ebox and a laptop Ubuntu

i would like to setup my laptop and ebox with a vpn.
but i do not have a clue how to go about that,
i checked the documentation for it and it seems a little out of date.
could someone please post a step-by-step dummy (me) proof on how to setup a vpn with ebox?
