HTTP Proxy two diferent sub-networks
« on: September 07, 2009, 01:58:52 pm »
Hi:

I have configured with ebox
  - ETH0 to the Internet public IP
  - ETH1 to a network in which I 192.168.0.X DHCP machines.

In the segment also ETH1 is a 192.168.1.x subnetwork

I would like the HTTP Proxy to serve both give sub-networks 192.168.0.X and 192.168.1X

I've tried but only addresses the eBox the 192.168.0.X.
Although i can see the eBox machine from the 192.168.1.x but eBox is not serving hhtp proxy request for this sub-network.

Any idea how to configure or tell eBox serving as a proxy for that subnet?

Note: In version 0.12 I did it without problems.

I'm glad I got to see this post, I'm setting up a similar almost identical network with the second LAN to be used for "guest" pc's. I had no intention of testing the proxy on the second LAN I had assumed it would work. Knowing this I will lookinto a possible solution, maybe something to do with routing tables. I'll let you know what I come up with.

Only people that wants to no more will ask!!
