men, I really apreciate your help.

my server DNS 127.0.0.1 cant resolve webmail.analyze.com.mx ( i dont know why this is my problem)

my secondary server 192.168.1.254 can resolve

i can remove 192.168.1.254

others servers like 8.8.8.8 will resolve

or 208.67.222.222

inside my server I can resolve webmail.analyze.com.mx with and without forwarder

for my clients if 127.0.0.1 not resolve i can't resolve it

the mail is not inside my zentyal server is in the www

What does this last sentence mean ? that on Zentyal server you can resolve this name?
So problem is Zentyal DNS... but I don't know why. This would require to look at log files if simple service restart doesn't work.

did you look my fotos?, at my reply #13

this happen someday sometime, the server was working.

if you look the fotos, if i do nslookup google.com my server response on 127.0.0.1

if i try nslookup webmail.analyze.com.mx 127.0.0.1 SERVFAIL and then try another dns like 192.168.1.254 or 8.8.8.8 or anyone you add.

but my clients has only 1 DNS my server DNS that it is 127.0.0.1 or his IP on the internal interface.

Yes I read your post and look at your screen-shots.
What you don't understand is that your clients will request Zentyal as their DNS server and Zentyal will perform the request "on the behalf of your clients".
Reaching Zentyal DNS either locally (local loop) or via its internal IP is exactly the same in term of name resolution.

Then, have a look at this. It may explain why you can't reach this site  ;)

thanks again.

I really want to understand you.

I know that Zentyal will perform the request "on the behalf of your clients".

but why zentyal can resolve? and my clients no.

if i try outside my zentyal network all works fine.

attached screen shots of my client nslookup

zentyal is not using second or third dns server to resolve my clients

I'm in mexico btw
