gsaldivar: I have uploaded a version in pdf to http://doc.ebox-platform.com/en/eBox-for-Network-Administrators.pdf

We will add it officially to the documentation pages with a 'Download in PDF' link or something like that soon.

I have opened a ticket addressing this issue [1].

Is the below statement true? I've not used postgrey in quite some time.., but did not think it blacklisted them, just whitelisted good guys..
"However, the servers that send spam do not usually follow the standard. They will not try to send the email again and eBox will include them in a black list."
That statement is not true. The server is not blacklisted. If it tries too early to send the mail, it will be greylisted again.

Thanks very much for your suggestions! ;)

Best regards,

@issac, @sixstone

Now the PDF version of the document is available it could be used as a means of submitting suggestions for change/improvements in context to the document.

A page(s) can be extracted from the official version, comment/markups embedded in it and then returned to you for consideration.  If you wanted to let the community know what changes you decide to make (and those you reject) they could be posted in the forum in a similar manner to reply #17 (sixstone replying to dragonslayer).

Posting suggestions directly to the thread will still be available for those wanting to use the existing route.

What do you think?

You may use the most comfortable way for you to send us patches. Indeed, the web version has a source in RST format to modify and send us the patches...

By the way, I have fixed one of the typos that you have found in intro page. ;)

Thanks very much for your effort and help and best regards,

I have installed this newer version and success.

But, when I want to save the settings that I have made in eBox via Firefox browser, I got this message:

Some modules reported error when saving changes. More information on the logs in /var/log/ebox
id serv3192 does not exist

Please help me to solve this problem. Thanks.

ndra use a new topic to talk about it.

To fix your migration, go to firewall rules and check those rules that the service is missing and configure it to a real service.

Already printed & bound!  Many thanks for making that possible guys!  For some of us, there is no substitute for a well-used, highlighted, dogeared, manual with notes scribbled in the margins.  :)

I've just downloaded and viewed it without problem. But I am using evince as PDF viewer, maybe the problem occurs only with acrobat reader or others.

Dont know for who that was written. Examples are simple, not connected to real situations. Unusable. Nothing interesting, nothing useful
