reinstalling for the umpteenth million time

Should I even bother trying to use ebox as a firewall? everytime I change the ip address of any nic it just hangs saying something about reconfiguring firewall. I can disable the firewall using /etc/init.d/ebox firewall stop and that is the only way from then on I can even do anything in the web interface

Are you trying to access through an external interface?? The eBox administration panel only listens on internal ones.
