Where the libapt-pkg-libc6.3-5-3.3 package could be gotten?
« on: March 03, 2008, 04:17:44 pm »
Hi!

I am trying to install the eBox onto Debian40-r3 (I cannot use the standart installer because of hardware issues). And I get an error related with dependencies:
ebox-software: Depends: esofttool (>=0.4)

The esofttool is from eBox set of packages but it could not be installed because of other dependency:
esofttool: Depends: libapt-pkg-libc6.3-5-3.3

Could you advise where I can get this package? I haven't found it on the any repository and as separate package.

Thank you.

If you have issues to install eBox on newer hardware, you can try to install eBox using a newer kernel as this howto explains [1].

EBox in Ubuntu is another possibility to take installing on Gutsy [2] or waiting for next release in Hardy.

I hope this helps.

I have tried to install the eBox according to [1], but the sarge-custom-0304.iso do not see my second NIC (http://forum.eboxplatform.com/index.php?topic=164.0)
