schedule backup
« on: February 26, 2008, 02:40:30 pm »
am just about to do my first "live" install of Ebox after some testing. One thing I miss is a simple way to schedule backups, can this be done? If I could be pointed in the direction of the correct cron-command perhaps...

Try flexbackup.   It's in the deb repository and works very well with cron.

The README is very helpful:

Thanks for the pointer! This will not mess up Ebox "built-in" backup?

My real wish (before Xmas) is that Ebox would have "scheduling" and "mail report to" on the backup.

Nope.  Should be fine.
