OpenVPN Server questions - ciphers
« on: July 26, 2013, 07:21:02 pm »
Hi folks,

So I've setup an OpenVPN server and client and it works successfully, and for this project, I now have to take it a step further and get my OpenVPN server to work with some gateway hardware.

I'm wondering a few questions here regarding the setup of OpenVPN in Zentyal...
For example, what's the default encryption cipher Zentyal has in place when setting up and how can check? (maybe in the server.conf and if so where is that?)

because I look at the OpenVPN-client.ovpn file that you can get from the server and it says ";cipher x" which leaves me saying "huh?" also, may be a stupid question, but the semi-colon represents ignored commands like the "#" comment tag?
