Error when I try to enter Zentyal.
« on: April 25, 2013, 09:52:20 am »
I am new at being using zentyal and need some help, my problem is this:

When starting zentyal and enter my data runs perfectly, the problem starts when I try to enter localhost, I enter my username and password and I get the following error:

500 : Can't connect to confbackup.cloud.zentyal.com:443 (Bad hostname) LWP::Protocol::https::Socket: Bad hostname 'confbackup.cloud.zentyal.com' at /usr/share/perl5/LWP/Protocol/http.pm line 51, line 62.

And the truth is not due to this, if someone could explain I'd appreciate it too.

oops  :o  weird message (err 5xx HTTP messages are always frustrating)

confbackup.cloud.zentyal.com does exist obviously  ;)

What do you mean when writing

What does "localhost" mean ?
And BTW what, in comparison "enter my data" mean too ?

Can you DNS resolve 'confbackup.cloud.zentyal.com'?

Hello,

this error has been fixed in the cloud side.

Anyway in zentyal-remoteservice >= 3.0.17 there is code to make this error less intrusive.
