How to set source for User Quotas

I would like to set up each of my teachers with a some space to store notes,slides,etc using User Quotas (Is this right way to do it?) I would like these to be located on a NAS we have set up as a file share. However, the User Quota does not seem to have an option on where to locate the quotas?

Any ideas?
