« on: April 01, 2013, 03:55:50 pm »
Hi, i Have two Zentyal Servers tunneling a VPN for diferent locations, the tunnel works perfect and thw two subnets are connected smooth. The problem comes after a few hours the remote Zentyal IP becomes unresponsive but two or three trys reactivate the conection. Any idea??? thx

I can't speak to 3.0 VPN but I found 2.x VPN to be very reliable (months without problems). So if it were me I would want to know more about the quality of my Internet connection, about power managment-related system configuration, and so on. I'm not suggesting that the probelm can't be Zentyal related, but I also would want to consider other possibilities.

You should look what is logged around the outrage time in the log files under  /var/log/openvpn

Probably is a network issue, if you let them alone the VPN servers will try to reconnect after a interval
