Schedule layer 7 filtering / firewall rules betwen certain times

I've done several searches with no results on the matter.

I was curious if it's possible via cron or via the web interface to schedule firewall rules or layer 7 rules between certain times. I'm on satellite and leverage midnight until 5am to download via p2p and other sources because downloads don't count towards my monthly download limit. I've got transmission configured on my systems to stop after those hours, but the problem is... even though i'm offline, i still get hundreds of megs of traffic each day from the seeders attempting to see if I'm still alive. and with a 15GB download limit each month, that 300+mb of p2p overhead traffic each day (even when the p2p client is not running) is killing my monthly bandwidth.

I've discovered that the traffic shaping works smashingly to do this, unfortunately, it's an off and on thing.. not a scheduled thing.

Has anyone been able to schedule when rules are on and off within zentyal?
