zentyal 3.0 cant connect to domain

alright i give up so im here ha.

i can get 2.0 to load perfect on xp and win7 with the domain.

on 3.0 i have litterly installed it 20x as 32 and 64bit i can see the domain but not get it to join i have installed all the patches and registry's on windows 7 but it will not connect on xp nor win7, i changed the administrator password made my own account in the domain admin group etc.

 i set my hostname as

COADSVR

and my domain as

COSMFAD.lan or what ever it makes it and the RELM is and everything matches.

it is set on a static ip with the correct gateway and DNS servers etc.

i have used these in a past with no issue but 3.0 refuses to work and im not sure why. :\

Did you search this forum about "apparmor" related issue and check whenever it fixes your problem ?

how are you installing zentyal, describe the install type, Virtual or on tin, list the settings you are entering?
with zentyal 3 (samba4) you don't need to make the win7 registry change

it is on a computer as a clean install for testing no VMware, also..i did and have installed everything just like this..once i type my domain name in windows it asks for a user name and password i type it and it pops up with



no matter what i register the domain name as it gets this far and thats it....

if this is standard install the domain is 'zentyal-domain.lan' don't forget the .lan
to check the domain name to use review the 'realm' name in zentyal web interface under filesharing

it may have never worked either, but the error messges are different
let me see if i can simulate this on my setup, I think your dns is not setup correctly as it says it can't contact the domain controller

this is as far as i get everytime then when it trys to login it kicks back..

is your workstation "time aligned" ? (look at NTP settings if needed)

i get the same domain error messges as you if I use for the 'zentyal-domain' and 'zentyal-domain.lan' when my dns is not working. i haven't got around to setting up the dns properly as it will conflict with other kit here so I get around it by putting the zentyal servers ip address in the workstations dns list and you can then join the domain.

well im reinstalling it now clean install and gonna set my Domain to "COSMFAD" it gives me the same error as i had it setup before idk if the DNS is setup right cause it gives me the same error like "ZENTYAL-DOMAIN"

still same error my server is even registered to Zentyal and everything i can see it just cant connect..
