Connection when i put the IP address manually

Hi, I'm having the opposite problem as this user. I want my computer to have a connection when i put the IP address manually, but it´s not working. It only works when I use the DHCP server and input the MAC Address of my computer for it to assign an IP.
Any ideas what could be wrong???

One of the details it would be helpful to know is where you're entering the IP address--on the computer or within Zentyal--and where that IP address exist  in relation to the DHCP range you've defined--within or outside it.
